I am proud to show my first sketchbook on my website. Stay tuned, I will be filling a sketchbook to spam this section.
Current cover of my sketchbook with stickers I have collected over the years. Had to take a photo of it because of the puffy sticker; it just wouldn't scan right. But gosh, it's so cute in my sketchbook either way, and it was a gift from my husband, so it stays.
Sketch of a cougar image I found online some years ago, and finally decided to draw it. Used some off-brand colored pencils, which I loved, texture-wise, on paper.
Some colored-pencil gongbi studies, practicing hand coordination, to attempt gongbi painting soon. I used colored pencils for this instead of ink because I wasn't ready to actually waste or try my ink on anything just yet. My gongbi supplies are limited, cause it's kind of an expensive art form, buuuuuut my traditional supplies that aren't gongbi aren't. So I'll use what I have until I'm ready. I want to jump right into drawing animals again, but I know I have to take baby steps with this art style;-;
I want to make 2 dog ocs who are best friends, they are coded to be a Chinese pug and one a shih tzu. The pug is very much a man of the streets and is very street smart, while the shih tzu is a pampered house dog who is somewhat a lap dog.
