Hey Folks, Welcome to my first subscribed blog post. Unlike the other blog posts, these are the ones you will receive from here on out via mail. * excited*

I have been working on a few pieces that I'll post here to show off, and you can browse the updated site from here.

A few changes are a go go for this website so far!

I usually use beak creatures as testers for the brushes that I make because they seem to work nicely with them. However, I'm still so so with my painterly blending brushes. They seemed to have come out nicely with the Elish sheep dog tho.

It's like sometimes they work and other times they can actually truly destroy a piece and make me lose inspiration for completing a finished piece.

The tool brushes with red dots near them are the brushes I am talking about. I like to classify them as just stubborn because when they work they truly make powerful rendered pieces. Alas, this is what comes with making your own brushes. STRUGGLE CITY!

Defiance in Red

Originally titled "Disgust in Red", was a vent piece inspired by "The Avoidance" piece. I have never seen a Guǐ in terms of the Chinese ogre/ demon actually drawn like our masks. To be very fair, my image is very tame compared to what they can actually look like. But I do enjoy my interpretation. Because it's as close to what it could be in the bones of it all.

The Avoidance

A piece about a dragon-human hybrid who not only avoids both his cultures but also despises them due to both cultures hurting him for trying to control him. Which hurt him throughout his hatchling lifespan. His name is Wàngjìle Lóng, which translates into forgotten dragon. His name clearly shows that his mother did not have much hope for him. Hateful for what he was yet ffetished his blood in the same breath. As a hatching, his mother dressed him in designer silks and toted him like a designer bag to show off. Mainly to spite his dragon father to forever look from the outside of parenthood but never come close to his own son even in death. 

This character is very personal to me, mainly because it is an adaptation of my own childhood and cultural mix. I will be using this character as a vent character from here on out to explore themes within my own childhood. While the fantasy is the character itself.

So now to the meat of the post. I was thinking of writing fiction about my worlds to accompany my world-building. I'm unsure when I'll implement this on my website, but there will be readable material once I get some concept art going for my world called "Void Fandom." I pulled all my worlds down from my world-building page because I'll be working on stuff one at a time, just so I don't get overwhelmed with my own work.

I won't give much details about void fandom but it will be rated mature with content warnings for violence at best. It's considered a vent universe and something very personal to me. The fiction page will be up on side pannel tabs once I have at least 4-5 pages worth of fiction to read.

Update on music, so far coming along nicely. I have a a few finished tracks not related to the Narci prey concept album that will be put up for free as well. Most if not all my music will be up for free to download and listen to on here.

The shop will be up around mid - the end of January. I haven't had time to finish putting stuff up there but once I do I won't be putting a journal up to say it's available. Feel free to check back randomly to see if the shop is open.

The Oc and world-building pages are being remodeled and are slowly going to be updated once art and character info are added. I took down some of the older  OCs stuff and I will be remaking art for OC's one by one like a little weekly/bi-weekly project. Something to do in my downtime.
